He knows his way around the kitchen, calls patrons by their names and has built a successful family of restaurants focused on making and serving fresh and local food with deep roots.
Since 1986, Ed Sahm has owned and operated Sahm's Restaurant. A hometown guy, Ed graduated from Cathedral High School and Purdue University’s School of Restaurant & Hotel Management. Education has given Ed the ingredients to build a restaurant group that now consists of 10 Indianapolis-area locations. Family has given Ed the passion and motivation to operate restaurants that patrons love to visit over and over again.
Ed, alongside eight brothers and sisters and mother Reva, has given his time, talents and character to help make this restaurant a great place. Younger siblings Gracie and Michael have worked closely with Ed since day one. Even brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and cousins have been enlisted to help along the way. It’s a family thing.
